The property was filthy, with rubbish outside and rooms just as bad: broken furniture, stains on the bed, broken shower handles, and rude staff. I called the owner, who was extremely rude on the phone and lied to booking.com. We took a full video of the property and room, including the manager admitting to the room's condition. I'd love to post it. Within two hours, we found somewhere else to stay, and it was the most incredible stay of our trip. If we'd stayed here, it would've been the worst experience of our first visit to Italy. Check the negative reviews here and on tripadvisor, because I'm certain the good ones are from his family and friends. If you don't want the worst experience of your life, don't stay here!

The location worked well, with the train station, beach, and main road and square all within a 10-15 minute walk. Check-in and checkout were great, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and personable. We stayed two nights while travelling Italy, and found the rooms well designed and decorated, making for a comfortable stay.

There was mold all over the shower, and the bathroom had a strong mold smell. We stayed because the property seemed to have good reviews online, but when we looked again, many other guests described the same experience. The sheets had three or four stains, the surfaces were dirty, and staff were unhelpful. The check-in process was confusing too.

We stayed four nights, and the bad experience began before we even got to the room: on arrival I wasn't sure we had the right building, and the ground floor had a very strong chemical smell. Reception was unattended, so we waited 30 minutes for someone to arrive. The lift wasn't working then, and we had to carry two big suitcases up two floors. The room looked fine at first, but the bed was extremely uncomfortable. The shower felt like a gimmick, there was a surprising amount of mold around it, and we had no hot water on the last day. We told the receptionist, who didn't seem to care. Breakfast was probably the strangest I've had: poor and minimal, with stale cakes, bread, croissants, muffins, crepes, and other food, so I stuck to toast and hard-boiled eggs. The staff sat watching us like hawks. Before leaving, we arranged a transfer with the receptionist for our 5am flight and were told the driver was reliable. We waited outside from 4:50am and called twice; each time we were told he'd be there in five minutes. He finally arrived at 5:27am. What a joke!
