The cabin had what we needed, including a basic kitchen with enough in it for cooking, though we ate out every night. We did try the campsite pizza and enjoyed it, and the beds were comfortable. There's also a huge swimming pool. A great base for visiting Sorrento, and we'd return.

The clean pool had plenty of sunbeds, and we enjoyed dinner at the pizzeria one evening. From our chalet, the coast view was lovely, especially outside at dusk with the crickets and fading light. We stayed three nights and found the walk down to the sea and along the coast into Sorrento easy enough, though there are lots of steps. The roadside walk from Sorrento has a pavement and isn't long, but traffic moves fast and the car fumes were strong. You can take the 008 bus instead. The kitchenette was fine for simple meals, even though it wasn't well stocked.

The pizza at the on-site restaurant was great, and our waiter was friendly. The restaurant closes on Wednesdays. Getting coffee or drinks at the bar could take a while, and sometimes nobody was there. We had a four-person lodge for two, which gave us plenty of room, though four would have felt cramped. The bed and duvet were very comfortable, the shower was a bit small, and the fridge's little freezer compartment came in handy. We didn't use the kitchen. The location is easy to get around on foot. Checkout is at 10, which felt early, and three cleaners kept trying to get into our lodge at 9:15.

We liked this place so much that we came back, a first for us. Our pitch had a fantastic view, and everyone was lovely. There was good coffee at the bar in the morning, food and drinks through the day, and pizza in the evening. The pool was lovely too. It's unusual for a campsite to be walkable both to a harbour, with restaurants, paddle boarding, kayaking, a little beach, sunbeds and swimming, and to Sorrento, with its lively atmosphere, shops and restaurants. Highly recommend.
