Hotel Leone

The room was modern and clean, with maid service every day. Breakfast each morning was a great way to get started, with something for everyone. The location was convenient for the activities, restaurants, and shops.

The breakfast was a bright spot, with lots to choose from, including smoked salmon, and the machines made good cappuccinos. The location worked well for us too, an easy walk to the centre, and having a car park was handy. The rooftop jacuzzi had lovely views, but the water was tepid and cold at night. We still gave it 20 minutes on our last night, though it would've been much nicer if it had been hot. The room was fine for our two-night visit, but I wouldn't choose it for a longer stay. There were only two sockets, as far as I remember, no wardrobe, just an open rail, and the bathroom was basic with a very small shower and no magnifying mirror. We also had no hot water on the first night. An okay hotel for a night or two.

We had clean rooms, fresh towels every day, and a comfortable bed and pillows. The staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was very good. The pool was a nice part of the stay, and we used it every day. It's also very well placed for tourists, close to most sights and things to do. I'd recommend it.

The cleaning staff were amazing, and the location was great. Everyone else we dealt with was 10/10 friendly, but the male day receptionist with glasses was a different story. My wife asked him about excursions and he wouldn't answer, telling us to wait for the next guy. His tone and attitude toward me started as soon as I arrived, and I had to ask him to be respectful. Later, when I came in from the pool without a shirt, he gave me a hard time even though we were waiting less than an hour for our room to be ready.
