Rosa Magra Guest House

Gaia was an amazing host and made sure we had a pleasant stay. She shared great recommendations, arranged our transfer from Naples airport, and provided information whenever we needed it. The place is reasonably priced and right in the heart of Sorrento, making it convenient to get around. Highly recommend.

This small, comfortable guest house is just steps from central Sorrento. It worked perfectly as a base for exploring the city, the Amalfi Coast, Capri, and the other islands. Our host was extremely thoughtful and helpful, giving us all the orientation and guidance we needed to make the most of this lovely part of Italy.

Gaia stayed in touch before we arrived and throughout our visit. Check-in usually ends at 20:00, but she stayed later so we could meet her before she left. That was really helpful, and she also gave us restaurant and activity suggestions. Our rooms were cleaned every day except the one we asked to skip, since we were worn out from back-to-back tours and wanted to sleep in. The location was fantastic, with a grocery store across the street, shops nearby, and the city center and train station right there. We really enjoyed our stay. The only reason I gave 4 stars, though it deserves 4.5, is that there was no breakfast or laundry service. The nearest laundry was an 8-12 minute walk away.

Good value for money. The guesthouse was clean and well located, with easy access to the city beaches, shops, restaurants, and the train and bus station. Gaia was very helpful with restaurant and sightseeing tips, and flexible about checkout. We’d love to come back!
