From the outside, it didn’t look like much, but once the electric gate opened, it felt like entering a peaceful, beautiful world. My whole family fell for it almost immediately. I stayed a few nights in early 2014, and it’s hard to put into words how lovely the place is. We rented part of a villa. It had spacious rooms, great bathrooms, and loads of character. The kitchen was well equipped, and a basket of fresh lettuce and vegetables from the garden was waiting for us as a welcome gift. I thought that was a lovely gesture. The young woman running the place was incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is great, though you need a car to reach the nearest town supermarket, about a 5-10 minute drive away. My kids loved the wide gardens in front of our villa. If I’m ever back in the area, I’ll stay here again, and for longer. A real gem at very affordable prices.

The host was so kind and helpful, and the people looking after the place take their work seriously. They were always smiling and ready to lend a hand. The accommodation was very clean, with lots of flowers and lovely gardening. It’s impossible to describe how beautiful the setting is. A wonderful place to stay in the Province of Siena, relax, and enjoy the pool. I hope I can visit again soon. I totally recommend it.

We’d definitely return. The rooms are large, and the beds are comfortable. They’re dark and quiet too, which made it feel like a real retreat. Elvin was a great host and gave us lots of local recommendations. Phenomenal location and great facilities, tucked away in a lovely spot.

I’d love to come back, which says a lot about a place. It was quiet, comfortable, beautifully planned, and thoughtfully finished. Our kitchen had everything needed to cook for four, and the Miele dishwasher was much appreciated afterward. Half our meal came from the complimentary basket of organic vegetables. The beds were medium-firm with thick toppers, and each apartment had its own heating and cooling controls. There was guest laundry, too. San Rocco a Pilli was a 20-minute walk away, with a really nice COOP supermarket and a couple of good local restaurants where we had dinner. We used the local bus to get to Siena and avoid the parking hassle. We also drove to San Gimignano and Pienza, and spent a rainy day at the outlet mall in Valdichiana.
