Tucked among vineyards, Villa Le Caggia is quiet and private, with Siena close by. The restored stone interiors, graceful rooms, and calm gardens make it a lovely Tuscan retreat.

We were there for two nights with family for a wedding, and the villa felt wonderfully cut off from the rest of the world. It’s a lovely spot to lounge around and unwind in the countryside. The views are mostly tree lines, with rolling hills farther off. Florence is about an hour and a half to the southwest, and Pisa is an hour away.

Maurizio was a wonderful host on site, and an amazing chef too. Domenico & Fabio were always attentive and ready to answer questions. We were a big group visiting in December, and everyone had a great time. The villa was warm and comfortable, with beautifully furnished rooms and bathrooms. We’d definitely think of coming back for another vacation.

What makes this place special is the crew of four chaps, who’ve put so much heart into making it an experience for guests, rather than just somewhere to stay. The property itself is beautiful, thoughtfully designed, and well laid out. I hope I can come back soon. Wishing the two Fabios, Maurizio and his dog Mina all the best!

It’s wonderfully secluded, though early one morning a farmer walked his sheep through a nearby lower field. The house has 4+3 large double bedrooms, most with ensuite bath or shower, plus a swimming pool, hot tub, badminton Court, and a games room with pool and table tennis. The access road is dirt and quite bumpy, not metalled.
