We spent two weeks here, and it was lovely to see everyone coming and going treat the quiet of nature with respect. There are no crowds, just crickets and a sky full of stars. Lucia and Angelo are very friendly, and they grow their own food. Breakfast was a treat, especially the homemade cakes, and Angelo was ready to help with anything we needed. The beaches are around 3 to 20 minutes to an hour away, with sandy stretches and cliffs to choose from. Food all over Salento is good for the soul, so enjoy it!

The whole hotel has such a peaceful feel, and breakfast was a treat every morning. Our hosts at I Mulicchi were brilliant and incredibly helpful. I'd happily stay again.

Breakfast had excellent quality ingredients, and the bathrooms were large and comfortable. There’s a lovely sense of space throughout. The property feels naturally set out, with thoughtful touches of style and comfort, and the architect’s vision is clear in how it was built from the ground up. It’s a treasure for couples who appreciate that kind of place. You may need a little tolerance for the buzzy bits of nature around the pool, but the rest is balmy and thoughtfully arranged. One small wish: bigger room fridges, for all the antipasti Salentini we bring home from our daily raids!

We ordered a ‘dinner box’ on our last evening and ate it in a lovely spot on the property. The hosts are kind and clearly take pride in the special place they created from scratch. The buildings are thoughtfully designed to give guests privacy, and the setting is quiet and peaceful. The Saline pool is great, with plenty of places to relax. Breakfast had lots of options, including different homemade cakes each day, meat, cheese, fresh fruit, and homemade jams. It’s a perfect base for exploring the area, just a 5 min drive from Specchia, a beautiful little village with some great places to eat & drink. We’ll definitely be back.

The cottages are clean, simple, roomy, and practical, though a little more decoration might make them feel cosier. They’re well cared for and sit on a hilltop plateau with views over the Salento plain. The owners gave us a friendly, personal welcome and looked after us well. There’s a lovely pool with enough shade for everyone, and breakfast made with local products was delicious.
