Agriturismo Le Due Torri - Torre Quadrano

Daniela is friendly and helpful, and we had another wonderful stay at Le Due Torri for the second year running. We could completely switch off and enjoy every minute of the peace and relaxation. It's clean and convenient, with the main sights easy to reach and a view of Assisi from the garden. The pool is beautiful. We found our own little piece of paradise. Spello is a gem, and Umbria is spectacular, with so many villages to explore.

The feeling here is one of real peace, with nature all around. The smell of the grass and having keys to open the entrance gate made the agriturismo feel like home, and the lady who welcomed us was very friendly. We stayed in the sister property, in a mini-apartment with a kitchenette, rather than the one with the tower. I can't say anything about the restaurant food, since it's at the tower property. On the one night we planned to eat there, we found it closed because there were only three of us. We hadn't been told, but it wasn't a big problem, and we had dinner in nearby Spello instead. It's a beautiful place, and the peacefulness alone makes it worthwhile.

Breakfast was delicious, with homemade cakes and organic products from the farm, and it changed each day. We ate dinner at the agriturismo twice, and once in Assisi. We bitterly regretted that Assisi dinner. The portions here are generous and unusual, and the price is fair. Chef Luca is talented, friendly, and courteous, and was happy to share recipes. The room was fantastic, with a bathroom and 19th-century furniture. The agriturismo itself is a lovely oasis of peace in nature, with a pool, umbrella, and lounge chairs. It's five minutes from Spello and fifteen from Assisi. I highly recommend staying here for dinner.

We've been here twice now, and we'll definitely come back again. It's a wonderful place to unwind in the greenery and enjoy the quiet. The hospitality is superb, and Mrs. Daniela is simply fantastic. Ten out of ten!
