Residenza Frenguelli

I'm currently staying at Residenza Frenguelli, and the experience has been very frustrating. The property has some charm, but several problems have left me disappointed. The location shown when I booked through booking.com was inaccurate and confusing when we arrived. The listing also didn't say that getting to the property meant climbing about 100 metal stairs, which was especially inconvenient with luggage. It advertised free parking, but the parking was outside the city walls, so we had a longer walk and extra stress trying to find a suitable spot. Air conditioning was an important part of my decision to book. What we found was one small, noisy portable unit in the bedroom, barely enough to cool that room and doing little for the apartment's overall temperature. There was no GSM signal or mobile internet, and the promised Wi-Fi didn't work for my entire stay. That left me without reliable internet for navigation, communication, or staying connected while travelling. The contract phone number provided was wrong, making it very difficult to contact the owner. When I eventually spoke with the owner in person about the problems, they seemed indifferent and unwilling to offer solutions. The reply was simply, "It's your opinion, have a nice day." The misleading listing, missing or unusable amenities, and lack of support made for a very unpleasant stay. I hope future guests get accurate information and better help.
