The gondola was an easy trip, about 7 minutes away by bus or car, and having free parking at the hotel helped too. We stayed for a week of skiing and were pleasantly surprised, since we hadn't found many recent photos after hearing the place had been renovated. The staff made us feel at home from day one. Everyone was warm and helpful, and the rooms and common areas were kept very clean and comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were fresh, varied, and delicious every day. After skiing, we really looked forward to those meals. We had a great stay and would happily come back.

Really good value for the price, though it was a little noisy.

We booked ahead, but when we arrived the place was a dump. The hotel was extremely old, and the room doors looked as if they might fall apart whenever you opened them. The beds were a nightmare, like something from a kids' camp or the army. The manager showed us three rooms before we found one that seemed somewhat okay. The road nearby was very loud. With the window open, the noise was awful, and with it shut, there was no air and it was hard to breathe. We left after an hour and found another hotel, even though we couldn't get any money back.

The place felt so old and run-down that it seemed like it could fall apart at any moment. The host didn't speak English, and the room was poor and stifling. It was a really bad experience, and we didn't stay the night.
