The rooms and shared spaces were clean and well equipped, including the outdoor pool. Poggiolo was a wonderful place to stay, with stunning views and a very peaceful feel that suits even little ones. It’s a great choice for a nature-filled alternative break, with time to relax and enjoy beautiful sunsets in complete peace. Thanks to Marzio for everything!

The apartments are roomy and air-conditioned, and there’s a huge grill for guests to use in the shared garden. The pool and views are spectacular, and the sunsets take your breath away. Marzio is a wonderful, humble owner who’s always ready to sort out any problems. See you soon.

A wonderful stay. The countryside around here is so relaxing, and the property is well maintained and clean. It’s also a handy base for trips around Umbria. We visited lots of well-known villages just a short drive away, and supermarkets are only a few minutes by car. The apartment has what you need for cooking, plus a washing machine in the bathroom, though a few kitchen extras would be useful, like tablecloths and special dishes. Marzio is available if you have questions. The pool has loungers and umbrellas, and there’s a swing and slide on the lawn for children. Dogs are welcome too.

Mr. Marzio was courteous, helpful, and direct, and ready to meet guests’ requests. The building and the apartments on each floor are kept in very good condition, but the place itself wasn’t quite right for me. It was scorching hot and the air conditioning wasn’t adequate. We were on the second floor, reached by stairs, and didn’t even have a balcony. That felt a long way from the bucolic picture in the photos. The pool was clean and beautiful, but the lawn around it was overgrown with brush, so walking barefoot wasn’t possible, and there wasn’t even a small table to set things on. The parking area had uncomfortable cobblestones and uneven ground, which made handling suitcases a real pain. There are several things that need attention. Still, I think the property could shine with a few more improvements. I hope it does, for the lovely owner and for future guests.
