The setting is magical, with lovely views all around and dirt roads where you can go for walks while taking it all in. My friend and I booked at the last minute after seeing the photos and reviews, and we couldn't decide whether we liked the people or the surroundings more. The family and staff were incredibly friendly, always checking that we were happy. One evening I felt unwell, and they made me tea and made sure I was okay. They didn't mind that we didn't speak Italian. Every night we ate in the dining room while the whole family ate too, which felt like a real Italian family experience. We were the only Americans there both evenings, so it feels off the tourist trail. If you're after an authentic family agriturismo experience, book here.

About 30 km +- from marmore waterfalls, this is a very nice hotel in the middle of nature. The food is excellent, and kindness and friendliness are part of the place. We'll come back. GRITURISMO RIVOLI THE BEST IN UMBRIA

The bed is the one problem here. It feels older than the farm, and it's definitely one of the most uncomfortable beds I've slept in in this country.
