The house is spacious and comfortable, with a fireplace right in the middle of the living room that makes you want to stay in. There’s also a lovely, charming pool set among greenery, thanks to the landscape. Villa Marianna is in Bazzano, in the municipality of Spoleto, at about 700 meters above sea level. I can’t say the setting is merely extraordinary, it’s perfect for a truly relaxing holiday, and the temperature is exceptionally warm compared with Spoleto. All that’s left is to book, then thank me for the fantastic recommendation.

The view from this villa, surrounded by greenery, is beautiful, and Marco was genuinely kind and welcoming. The service still needs some work, though. We paid extra for towels, but they were dirty and there weren’t enough. The bathrooms were damaged and poorly equipped, with doors that wouldn’t close properly and a broken showerhead. The beds squeaked, and we found hair. A few small fixes would have made this a five-star stay.

Marco was incredibly friendly, and the rooms are huge. The kitchen is very well equipped too. Add a pool, barbecue and all that nature, and it’s pure bliss. Best hotel I’ve seen in years.

Each of these beautiful, recently renovated farmhouses seems even lovelier than the last. The views are breathtaking, and the apartments are enormous. The owners are wonderful and so helpful. Highly recommended!

You can stay here with all the comforts, surrounded by nature and a one of a kind view. There are excellent local products to try too, including cheeses, cured meats, olive oil, wines and plenty more. Dear friends, it’s truly worth a visit.
