We loved our stay at Hotel Charleston. The staff were accommodating and spoke English, and breakfast was a real highlight. Our superior room looked lovely and had a very comfortable bed. From the hotel, it was an easy walk to the sights and restaurants, about three minutes uphill to Spoleto’s main shopping street and around twenty minutes to the train station. Highly recommended.

We found several good dinner options close by: La Torretta and Cantina de’ Corvi are both about a five minute walk away, and we’d happily recommend either. There’s also a Lidl nearby for picnic supplies. The hotel is well placed for the town centre and major sights, and breakfast on the veranda was delicious, with plenty to choose from. One staff member had baked the lemon tart that morning, and it was especially good.

I changed my review after the hotel replied. There was a birthday party that night, unfortunately. Still, on Friday or Saturday it’s impossible to sleep here because of the nightclub outside, and the walls are very thin.

The price was good, parking was easy, and the location was really convenient. The staff were friendly too. My one suggestion is to improve the soundproofing in the rooms.

A clean, nice room and welcoming, helpful staff. The location near the cathedral was great. I'd definitely stay here when visiting Spoleto.
