Our family shared a wonderful lunch on the terrace, lovingly prepared by Ginevra and her family. Everything was homemade, fresh, and full of local flavor. Their genuine hospitality made us feel like old friends, and eating together in the sunshine with the hills behind us is something we’ll remember. Eremo delle Fate sits on a peaceful hill among olive groves and woodland, with beautiful views across the Umbrian countryside. The estate is carefully looked after, with shaded picnic spots, two elegant pools, and plenty of safe space for children to explore. The welcome and relaxed setting both felt personal and thoughtful. We spent a magical day there and left feeling rested and inspired, already thinking about coming back. It’s more than somewhere to stay, it’s a taste of Italian countryside life at its best.

The location is convenient for Spoleto, Spello, and Assisi, and the friendly staff were always ready to help. My one-bedroom apartment was clean and comfortable, with a lovely private patio, and the place felt quiet and private. The shower is tiny and drains slowly, which was the one downside. Even so, the good points far outweigh it. I’d give the stay 4.5 out of 5.
