We had such a good family break here with the kids. The hosts were caring and very kind. From the hilltop, the views are amazing in daylight and at night, when the city lights come on. The shallow pool felt safe for the little ones, while the deeper one worked well for older kids and adults. I can see us wanting to come back.

There’s no breakfast, but you can use the tables with a great view, so we picked up food at Coop, about 5-10 minutes away by car. It’s a former monastery with lots of character, spacious rooms, and a nice saltwater pool with loungers. The owners are lovely. They don’t speak much English, but they really make an effort to chat and be friendly. Rafting Nomad is around 25 minutes away by car, and the rafting experience is one to make time for.

We loved cooling off in the pools on a hot summer day. The castle has been renovated nicely, keeping its charm while adding modern comforts. The setting is beautiful, and the hosts are a warm, friendly family.

The pool was a lovely spot to relax quietly in nature, and the valley view is priceless. The apartments are comfortable and equipped for week-long stays. It’s a beautiful property just a few kilometers from Spoleto, and the owners are very kind.
