Le Castagne Matte

Licia and her mother are friendly, kind, and very down-to-earth. We had breakfast in their osteria, where her mother makes a delicious selection of desserts. Dinner is well worth recommending too. We stayed as a couple in early 2019, and the B&B made a handy base for the Andalo ski slopes, nearby hikes, Trento, the historic villages of Bleggio, and the Comano spa. It's a modern place designed especially for families with children. Our room was huge and welcoming, spread over two floors, with a very comfortable bed, warm rooms, and a spacious bathroom stocked with towels. The windows are thin, so noise from other rooms can carry, but it wasn't a problem when other guests were considerate. We'd definitely stay here again if we return to the area.

I was walking the San Vili Alto route and stayed for one night. The owner greeted me with a drink. My room was spacious and spotless, and the bathroom was gorgeous. I had a delicious typical Trentino dish at the inn that evening, and breakfast the next morning had plenty of sweet and savory choices.

The whole stay was magnificent. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and everyone on staff was extremely kind and helpful. The osteria was excellent too. Highly recommend.

The hosts were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was generous, with a good variety and delicious homemade desserts. It's a welcoming, clean B&B, with lovely rooms furnished in natural wood and a brand-new bathroom. I highly recommend it.
