Cala Rosa Club Hotel

Breakfast and dinner were lovely, and the waiting staff were polite and attentive. We were happy with the rooms, pool, and food during our stay last week. The only other downside was that Wi-Fi was available at reception but not in the rooms, which was inconvenient. We had a problem with the bar bill, and when my dad asked reception for a printout so we could check what we'd spent, the receptionist seemed offended. I was unhappy with that response; it was unprofessional and poor customer service. Apart from that, the stay was passable.

The hotel could use a facelift, since some areas are starting to look old. A one-page FAQ at check-in might save reception from having to repeat the same information. And in 2025, having internet only around reception and nowhere else in the hotel is rather unacceptable. The staff were the best part, especially the children's entertainment team. I believe the company was called Vibicon Eventi. They were fun, attentive, and kept everyone entertained.

We had a weekend here with the family. The rooms were fine, the gardens and pool area were nice, and the free shuttle to the local beaches was handy. Reception staff were very good. Breakfast was the one problem. My wife asked for milk with her tea, and the waitress said, "that's disgusting!" The next morning, when my son went to get pancakes from the buffet, a waiter mimed slapping his hand because too many people were taking them. He wasn't joking.

We spent a week at Cala Rosa in August 2024, and it felt like home. A big GRAZIE to all the staff for the excellent service. Thanks to Matteo and the girls at reception, as well as the waiters. A special mention for Emmanuel, our waiter, and the pasta girl who wears glasses. People like them are exactly what a hotel needs. Highly recommended.
