We stayed 10 days and were comfortable enough in this basic house. We're two adults who don't need luxury. It was clean, the pool was cleaned regularly, and there was a BBQ. No Wi-Fi. The place needs some maintenance: fresh caulk in the kitchen and bathroom, the roof fixed, and the window frames repainted. The garden was... done, with more dirt than grass.
The balcony has a beautiful view, and the bedroom layout gives privacy around the house. The upstairs bedroom has its own bathroom, though storage is lacking and the shower is tiny. There's another bathroom with the ground floor bedroom, and the basement bedroom has a bathtub. Still, despite a few pleasant moments, the stay was disappointing. We won't consider it for future trips and can't recommend it. Villa Giada (Azzurra) could be a lovely place if the major problems were fixed and the listing were clearer. We stayed at Villa Giada, listed on Casamundo as Villa Azzurra. The villa is split into two parts, and only Via Chianti 5A has a pool. Via Chianti 5 doesn't. The different names and details caused confusion and disappointment for us and previous tenants. The rooms are spacious, but the place is in a deplorable state. The kitchen is small and poorly equipped, with a broken stovetop and problems with the refrigerator door hinges and paneling. We bought basic utensils ourselves, including a cutting knife and board, cheese grater, colander, and lemon squeezer. There's no Wi-Fi, and water comes through two rotten window frames when it rains. The outdoor areas are neglected, and wild boars rummaging through the garbage at night are a problem. Garbage collection is a mess too. The provided containers are emptied with garbage bags on certain days, perhaps, and you have to supply the bags yourself. Support is only available through WhatsApp and isn't helpful. We also waited over five weeks for the deposit. The manager is Group R! Can't recommend it at all.
I was disgusted staying in that house. We were meant to have a villa with a pool for a week, but got one without a pool instead. There were broken mattresses and umbrellas in the garden, a faulty intercom, and a bathroom with no windows or fan. We paid over €200 for cleaning, but the place wasn't cleaned. Terrible. Don't go there or rent a villa in that complex. Disgusting.
This house is run down and poorly equipped. Ants show up every day, and it's the only house on the street with a completely withered lawn.
A wonderful place for a lovely holiday. Mrs. Patrizia, the local contact, is very friendly.
