The front desk staff made the biggest difference during our two-night stay. A serious SNAFU with our reservation could have cost us an extra $1,800, but the team worked hard to fix the mistake and refund the additional charge. They were kind, professional, and communicative while sorting it out with the third-party vendor, and went beyond what we expected. The hotel itself was beautifully designed and maintained, from the lobby and our room to the fourth-floor restaurant with its stunning lake views. We were just off Lake Maggiore, close to restaurants, shops, and boat docks for trips to the Borromean Islands. Breakfast had plenty of fresh, delicious choices, from fruit and baked goods to traditional meats and cheeses, and the bar made excellent cocktails. A perfect place to stay in Stesa, and we’d return without hesitation.

We had a wonderful stay and were so glad we chose this beautiful hotel. The winding local streets are right there to explore, and the busy lakefront promenade is just a short walk away, with boats to the islands of Lake Maggiore. Staff were patient and friendly, and everyone, including the kind manager, seemed committed to making guests feel looked after. The attention to detail and service were outstanding, and the hotel exceeded our expectations. With its peaceful setting and lovely spa, it feels better suited to a relaxing special stay than to lively large families.

The lake panorama, especially the view of Isola Bella, was a highlight of my stay at Boutique Hotel Stresa. The hotel is beautiful, with elegant details and a warm atmosphere, and the service was excellent. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. They also welcomed my dog warmly, so he felt at home too. It made the visit special, and I’d happily return.

The food was delicious, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and provided very good service. We loved our stay and were pleasantly surprised by how stylish the hotel was, with upscale finishes, thoughtful details, and comfort beyond what you’d expect in five-star hotel suites. It’s in a perfect location.

Some pricey hotels don’t offer anything special, but this one really did. It’s beautiful, the service was perfect, and the staff were absolutely brilliant. We even received a complimentary room upgrade. Our first stay here certainly won’t be our last.
