Stresa made a lovely memory for us, and Hotel du Parc was a big part of it. The staff were helpful and friendly throughout, especially Lucia and Simona, who were amazing with our questions and requests. They arranged a private transfer from Malpensa airport because of an issue with Stresa train station. Before we had even taken off from Manchester, the driver Eduardo had sent his photo and phone number and told us where he’d be waiting and what he’d be holding. Everything went exactly to plan, and the drive to the hotel took about an hour. Our first-floor room in the main building was spacious, with light from two windows, air conditioning, toiletries, a hairdryer, and extra pillows and blankets. The hotel was beautiful and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was cold continental style, with plenty of choice. It’s a five-minute walk down to town, with lots of restaurants and shops, a nice promenade, boat trips, and the main bus stops. The train station is about a 10 minute walk away. It reopened during our stay, and the trains were clean and on time. Stresa is a beautiful base for seeing the lake and nearby areas. Thank you all!

The lake-view room was a real treat, and breakfast was included. We especially enjoyed the pastries and cakes, which we learned were baked by one of the hotel restaurant managers. The hotel is conveniently just one street away from the busiest part of Stresa. You can easily book a shuttle bus online for trips to and from the Milan airport. The staff were so kind and attentive. Lucia, one of the managers, took extra care answering our questions about restaurants and getting around. Even the dining room staff remembered our breakfast coffee orders after the first morning. We had a really enjoyable stay.

Hotel du Parc is a comfortable, quiet place with clean rooms, private bathrooms, and a lovely garden surrounding the buildings. It’s close to both the town center and train station. The staff were great and helped us from the early planning stages of our tour. We came from Lisbon with an international group to visit Lago Maggiore and the Swiss Alps, and with their help we organized airport transfers, private lake tours, and convenient restaurants.

The hotel’s history comes through in its architecture and interior, with details from past centuries carefully preserved. It had a dignified, old-world feel throughout, and the room was clean, tasteful, and homey. The staff welcomed us warmly, and the receptionists were smiling and very helpful, making check-in easy. Its location was ideal, with the important places just a short walk away. Breakfast was simple in the Italian style, but delicious and high quality. Du Parc Hotel left a lasting impression and made us feel welcome to return.

We never felt like hotel guests, more like family at home. The accommodation was wonderful, and every request was met with a sincere smile. The staff were warm, friendly, courteous and enthusiastic, always greeting us cheerfully. Their service was better than anywhere else we’ve stayed, and they were phenomenal throughout. Breakfast was fabulous every time. Hotel Du Parc and its beautiful staff made our Italy and Stresa memories extra special. Thank you for some of our best memories. You all deserve even more praise than I can fit here. Grazie!!
