We spent ages on the balcony watching life below, with fantastic lake views. The rooms were pleasant and well equipped, the owners lovely, and breakfast truly super. Parking worked out well, since you need a car and we found a space down in Stresa. The hotel's description doesn't do it justice. A real gem, and we had a great time.

The garden is beautiful, the views are great, and the hosts made us feel welcome. Breakfast was nice too. Our room was on the small side, though it had a lake-view balcony. The furnishings are dated, perhaps intentionally vintage, and the bed wasn't very comfortable. We still enjoyed the place.

The balcony view is fantastic, breakfast is delicious, and the staff are very helpful. The hotel sits quite high up the hill, so you'll need a car to get around town.

The owners were genuinely welcoming and attentive to every need. The hotel is quiet, and only a short drive from Stresa. The lake view is splendid.

The hotel sits beautifully on a promontory above Lake Major. Have breakfast in the morning sun on the terrace for lovely views of the lake and some Bartolomeo islands. The terrace is also especially striking in the evening light, looking out over the lake and surroundings. There's a church about a hundred yards to the left. They can serve a good supper at a fair price if you ask. I'd request a room with a lake view.
