Il Ciliegio B&B

The room was spotless and well maintained, which was a plus. But it’s a long walk to the center for restaurants and groceries unless you drive whenever you go out. Calling it a B&B feels like a stretch, since breakfast was basically just snacks and coffee. For a proper breakfast, you’ll need to buy groceries yourself. That was a big change from what I’d understood from earlier reviews.

The location worked really well, about 10 minutes from the center and 5 from the waterfront, and there was plenty of parking for anyone arriving by car. Each room has its own shower and toilet. The apartment left a very warm impression on me, and I’m grateful for such a lovely welcome. Everything was thought through, from the beautiful design to the cotton swabs and pads in the bathroom. The living room had all the dishes, a fridge, tea, coffee, and several kinds of cookies, and there were the same things in the room. Luka was so responsive and dealt with every question right away, recommending things and explaining everything.

We came back to Luca’s B&B after a weekend stay two years ago. It’s in a handy spot for walking around town, while still being in a quiet, peaceful area, and there’s private parking. Luca is extremely kind and helpful, always offering places to visit and directions around town. The welcome was impeccable, and the rooms were spotless and very well kept. We also found water, a kettle, and a coffee maker in the room, plus body lotion, cleansing milk, and makeup remover pads in the bathroom. Everything was perfect. We’ll be back soon.

Luca gave us lots of useful information about the attractions nearby, and welcomed us warmly to this quiet B&B just steps from the center of Stresa. The room was spacious, beautiful, and spotless, with thoughtful things for the stay: a kettle and teas, a coffee machine, water, and biscuits. Thanks again, everything was perfect.
