La Sacca was such a relaxing place to stay. The hotel doesn't serve dinner, but they gave us restaurant suggestions for Stresa, and the ones we tried lived up to them. We also had easy parking and access to a private beach. Every room has a balcony facing the lake, with stunning views, and breakfast was a lovely spread of regional food, hams, cheeses, and more. Very welcoming.

The family run hotel has a lovely traditional feel, simple and elegant at the same time. The lake views are beautiful, and the staff were kind and accommodating. Breakfast was included in a very reasonable price. It's close to the lake but quieter than staying right in Stresa, and parking was easy.

The hotel has its own little stretch of beach beside the beautifully clean lake, and the balconies look out over Lake Maggiore. Just past Stresa, it feels like a tucked away spot, with off road parking. The staff were friendly and helpful while staying professional, and their suggestions for restaurants, historic monuments, gardens, and other places to visit made us feel welcome. They don't serve evening meals, though they can provide afternoon snacks and drinks.

We loved having breakfast out on the terrace. There was plenty of choice, including freshly made cakes that changed each day. The rooms were very clean and tidy, with a perfect lake view, and the receptionists were super friendly. We had a really nice stay and would absolutely recommend the hotel. Their offer of a three course dinner on one of the islands is worth considering too.
