The peaceful setting in the heart of the lovely village of Piscità made our stay at Casa Augusta a constant pleasure. We loved the large terrace, with its two views over the sea, Strombolicchio, and the volcano. It was a treat for the eyes, and we spent so much time there. The little patio, where we could shower outside, was charming too. The house is close to Stromboli's most beautiful beaches and to the old mule track winding up the volcano. It's comfortable and has everything listed. Even if you need something the owners haven't thought of, Giuseppe will sort it out quickly. He knows and loves the island, and his advice was invaluable. A helpful, reliable, very discreet host. We'll return to this beautiful place, where we've left our hearts and wonderful memories 🌋❤️🛳️

The apartment is beautiful, and the view is magnificent. If you're after peace and quiet, this is the perfect place. But the welcome and relationship with the host matter a lot to me, and that part was missing. A taxi driver greeted us, handed over our laundry in a shopping bag, and didn't take a minute to show us around.
