The bed was comfortable and the cozy comforter helped me sleep well. I also enjoyed the nice view, peaceful secluded setting, and really good breakfast. The hotel has a lot going for it as a quiet place to relax. A couple of things could be improved, though: the metal bed frame is noisy and seems purely decorative, and the shower cabin could keep more water in.

After the first night, this place turned out to be an understated gem. The room was lovely and quite spacious for a hotel room, with a surprising number of lights and electrical sockets. The bathroom was great too, with a good shower head and plenty of hot water. Breakfast is continental, with pastries, coffee, and juice, and there's an upstairs patio with 360-degree views of the ocean and mountains. It's not an opulent or fancy five-star resort, but it has what most people need, especially if they're here to hike the volcano. I gave it a huge thumbs up. Just be ready for the uphill walk to this B&B. When I first checked in, I hadn't stayed the night yet, but the room was nicely appointed.

The photos on the platform are much too flattering. My room was basic, with a poor bed and bedding, and I woke up with a sore neck. At €190 a night, it felt a bit pricey. The place needs serious maintenance. Service was okay, but check-in took quite a while. I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for luxury.

Breakfast on the roof terrace, with a view of Stromboli, was amazing. Our quadruple room had a lovely terrace, and we were woken by birds every morning during our two-night stay with our children. The setting is beautiful, about a 15-minute walk from the harbour. One downside was the white curtains and many windows: the garden lights shone into our room all night, and the morning light woke us early. Some rooms appear to have kitchens, which would have been useful for us.
