Hotel Borgo San Luigi

I hadn’t expected Borgo San Luigi to become one of the most memorable parts of our Tuscany trip, even as we were heading there. The grounds are lush, green, and incredibly peaceful, with a lovely garden right outside our room’s door. Waking up to that view was amazing, and everything felt clean, comfortable, and well cared for. In the evenings, the wooden fire pits make the place feel warm and intimate. The whole estate has a classic Tuscan atmosphere, surrounded by vineyards and countryside, while still being well organized and convenient for day trips. It was so quiet and relaxing that we barely wanted to leave.

The gardens and pool at Borgo San Luigi are beautiful, and the calm countryside setting among olive trees and vineyards makes it easy to slow down. This historic villa has a timeless feel, with rooms that are spacious, full of character, and decorated in traditional Tuscan style while still being comfortable. The staff were kind, professional, and attentive from the start. We also enjoyed the breakfast and dining, with high-quality local ingredients and flavors that felt true to Tuscany. It’s a lovely choice for a romantic getaway or a peaceful retreat. I’d return without hesitation and recommend it to anyone wanting beauty, tranquility, and authentic Italian hospitality.

We only stayed one night, which felt much too short, and we were already nostalgic for the place by the time we left. The old building has so much charm, the grounds are beautifully kept, and the huge pool makes the bar and restaurant area feel warm and inviting. Dinner at the agriturismo’s restaurant “La Bianca” was delicious and good value, with a great atmosphere. We had a drink by the pool afterwards, then slept well in our spacious room with its comfortable bed. The staff were so kind and welcoming, and breakfast the next morning had a fantastic buffet with plenty of choices. We were sad to go and will definitely be back.

The grounds were especially beautiful, and everyone at the hotel gave brilliant service. They’re a great team. Everything about the stay was perfect, and we hope to return soon. Thanks for such a great experience!
