Loft Piazza Università

The apartment is beautifully and spectacularly decorated, and it's lovely and quiet. There wasn't much natural light, but the electric lighting was more than enough to make up for it. The owners were very nice and helpful.

The warm welcome from Ida and Gaspare, along with their helpful advice, flexibility, and availability, was especially appreciated. They own this lovely, spacious loft, which has all the amenities needed for a holiday. It's also in a great spot, a minute from the cathedral, Via Etnea, and other historic and practical places like the bus station and restaurants. I highly recommend it!

The best part is the location: the Duomo cathedral, shops, squares, and restaurants are all close by, with the cathedral just 200 meters away. There are several breakfast items available, and we didn't miss anything. The nearest beach is about 2.5 kilometers away. Ida and Gaspare welcomed us kindly and were easy to reach, replying quickly. They explained things briefly, left manuals for things like the hot tub, and gave us tips for sights and restaurants. The loft is large, with plenty of space and charming decor. Some things are a bit older and have a small defect here and there, but that was fine for us. The TV is older too and has no HDMI connection, though there is one in the cupboard next to the TV box for connecting your chrome box (Netflix). The bedroom air conditioning was too noisy for sleeping, so we used the unit to the right of the TV instead, which cooled the place enough. Even though there's a second bathroom, we only used the one next to the bedroom, where the hot tub is. Ida and Gaspare, thanks for the hospitality and commitment 👍

Ida and Gaspare were wonderful, always happy to help with directions or suggestions. The apartment was spotless, roomy, and had all the comforts we needed. It's close to the city center, too. Parking right there can be tricky, though we found a spot within 100-200 meters each time. Highly recommend.
