We got to the address listed on Booking.com and Google at 3:00 PM to check in and rang the bell. Someone opened the door, then said he wasn't the host we were expecting. We called him and got no answer, and Booking.com tried too without reaching him. In the end, we had to find somewhere else so we wouldn't be left sleeping outside. One star only because I can't give zero. Shameful. P.S. You can reply here whenever you like. 🤢
They knew our check-in time from Booking.com, but still wouldn't let us in. Their explanation was that they weren't obliged to respond to the guest contact details, and that they hadn't even read the message sent two weeks earlier because they only use the Booking app on a computer and hadn't opened it recently. They clearly don't know how to manage an apartment. Looking at the other reviews, maybe it was for the best that we never got inside.
We stood out in the rain for an hour because nobody came to check us in. We couldn't get hold of the owner either. Don't book, this is a total scam.
The bathroom was cramped and dirty, and we had to share it with the owner. The place itself was dirty too, and the owner was rude and seemed to have no idea how to run a B&B. The one good part of the stay was leaving. A terrible experience.
The place was clean, and the staff were really polite and helpful. They even left us cold water and breakfast.
