Antico Borgo di Sutri

Laura, one of the senior staff, was so friendly and helpful whenever we dealt with her. The staff looked after my family attentively throughout our wonderful break, and we’ll miss them and Italy. The hotel has a boutique, luxurious feel, with spacious rooms and luxury fittings. The minimalist design does mean there’s little storage space. It’s a tranquil, calming escape from the bustle of other hotels, and breakfast was tasty and thoughtfully prepared, though the choice was limited. They’re currently installing a pool for guests, and I wish the hotel and team every success in the coming months.

The restaurant alone would bring me back. I had one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time, and the service was fantastic. The stay was wonderful and so relaxing.

The restaurant really stays with you. Some places serve food that feels like more than just a meal, and this is one of them. The food was very good and the service was memorable, with very good service throughout. Our room was modern and just right, and the location made it easy to explore the many ancient hilltop villages within an hour's drive. We highly recommend staying here.

The garden was beautiful, and the whole stay was a very good experience. It's a quiet place close to Rome, with some jazzy music in the evening. The building is lovely and the staff were very nice. They even suggested places to eat in Sutri, and their recommendations were really good. We also saw what may have been a birthday party there. It looked festive, with live saxophone music. Amazing!
