Hotel Bel Soggiorno

We’d stay here a thousand times over. Watching sunrise over the sea from our balcony was unforgettable, and the hotel has beautiful gardens and a lovely breakfast room. The center is only a ten-minute walk, and parking was easy at €25 per day. Our room could use a few updates, but it’s still a special place.

The views from our room were amazing, and we had two balconies. Staff were professional, polite, and helpful, taking care of the car parking and our luggage. There’s a big terrace bar and breakfast area with more great views. Taormina, with its fantastic restaurants, is just a short walk up the hill. We loved staying here.

We had a wonderful breakfast, possibly the best selection we’ve seen in Italy during the past month. Our ocean-view room had a terrace for enjoying sunrise in the morning and sunset later in the day. Fresh air came in through the main doors and side window. The bed was a little hard, but it worked for a view like that.

The fabulous views and location made for a very nice three-night stay in a King Sea view w/terrace room. We had a corner room, which may be why it felt so small, with little space to move around, and the bathroom was tiny. Breakfast was included, with plenty of food and drinks, though the staff could be pushy about asking us to take more or try things we didn’t want. Service was good, if a little slow. The shared spaces and breakfast seating area were beautiful. There are lots of steps depending on your room, but a small lift can help with bags, and staff were helpful with luggage. Parking was challenging, downhill, very tight, and narrow. It’s quite a walk to Toarmina. The views were fabulous, but I’m not sure the stay was worth the price. I’d consider coming back if the price were right.
