Hotel Sirius

We were four people in a connected room, with two balconies, two bathrooms, and a great view. The room was spacious and clean, the bed comfortable, and the air conditioning was amazing in 30C heat. The hotel is in a stunning spot, an easy walk to town and right beside the cable car down to Isola Bella. Staff were super helpful and nice. They can book a beach club in Mazzaro for 16 euros per person, including sun beds and a transfer to the beach, and it was well worth it. Dinner at the hotel was great too. Be sure to book parking, as the lot is very small.

The balcony and pool views were exquisite. The hotel has a pleasant feel, and it’s elegant and comfortable. The staff were nice and helpful. Thank you.

The pool is gorgeous, and breakfast was good with a beautiful view. Still, this doesn’t meet the standard of a four-star hotel. The room was small and felt old, and the balcony looked onto the wall of the next building. The front desk staff member was rude. She said I should have reserved parking, so the lot was full and we had to use a public lot down the street. She claimed they’d messaged me right after booking, but I showed her my messages and there was nothing. Instead of apologizing, she kept arguing. We’re on holiday and trying to enjoy ourselves, and she came across as brash and poor at customer service. A message several days ahead about parking would have helped. There are stairs and a steep hill up to the street, with no elevator access.

It’s a classic villa-style hotel, well maintained and decorated throughout, in a quiet spot with fantastic views. The bus station, gondola, and main town are all a five-minute walk away. The staff are very friendly and the service is good. Our room was nice and had air conditioning. Breakfast gets a bit chaotic, but it’s OK, and the coffee is good. The pool is good too, as are the snack bar service and food.
