We had a spacious, clean, comfortable room with everything we needed, even if it wasn't the cutest. The road and highway below could be heard, but the rooms are well insulated, so it stayed quiet. The garden has a great view, breakfast was great, and the beds were comfortable. We had parking, and Taormina centre is a 10-15 minute walk uphill. If you don't want to walk, there's a free shuttle about 100 metres away, and the walk back down is easy. Our landlady welcomed us warmly even though we arrived late. Thanks to her and her assistant, we had an amazing five days in Taormina.

Breakfast was a full 5/5, and the balcony had an amazing view. Carmelita was a lovely host, and we couldn't have picked a better place. The room and the rest of the premises were just what we needed, in a quiet spot a 5-10 minute walk from busy Taormina.

We enjoyed breakfast in the garden on both days. There was a generous mix of sweet and savoury food, and it was delicious. The property has lovely views over the sea and the hills around the town, and our host did everything she could to make us comfortable. Our room was a good size, with all the amenities we needed, a comfortable bed, and blinds that made it completely dark. There's secure, free parking at the property, and a free bus to the centre stops a 50-metre walk away. The downside is that getting to the stop or the town means walking along a busy road without a pavement. Some parts of the property and garden could use a little TLC, though the hospitality and views quickly took our minds off that. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Taormina with a rental car.

The view is dynamite, and the location makes getting around easy. The free shuttle up to town is nearby, as is the cable car for the beaches. Carmelita was kind and accommodating, shared recommendations for town, and made a great breakfast. Highly recommend this apartment!

We spent five nights at Mrs Carmarita's B&B, and she took good care of us. Her lovely Terrence has a stunning view, and breakfast offers lots of excellent choices. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and Taormina town is within walking distance. The neighboring towns are beautiful and easy to reach by car. One lovely part of the stay was sharing a glass of wine with our host on her terrace during siestas hour. She doesn't speak much English, but Google Translate helped us enjoy every minute. Highly recommend staying here when visiting Taormina.
