The pool and the view are lovely, and reception was friendly. We could keep in touch with the host on WhatsApp, and the Google Maps pin was exactly right. It's a ten minute walk into town. The kitchen could be better, and the rooms still don't have AC. The road is tricky, but a competent driver in a small car can manage it. Parking along the roadside seems common at B&Bs in Sicily.

There isn't AC in the rooms, and the road up is narrow, though driving it was no problem for us. The pool area is cosy, with loungers and umbrellas, and a fantastic view across the city and sea. Emanuele was a terrific host, reachable anytime on WhatsApp and doing what he could to make our stay better. It's a nice place with a wonderful view.

The view is beautiful, and that's the one thing I can praise. Getting to the property or down to town takes a long, tiring uphill or downhill trip, so it doesn't suit anyone looking for comfort, relaxation, or easy access. The photos online gave us a very different impression. Inside, the rooms were dirty and poorly kept. The beds weren't made, tablecloths weren't changed, and if you got up late, cleaning simply didn't happen. The fridge was dirty, not working properly, and still had food from earlier guests. AC wasn't available everywhere, and the portable unit in the room barely cooled it. There were hardly any outlets, and half the lights didn't work, leaving much of the house dark at night. There was no breakfast. We weren't allowed to use the kitchen, which was described to us as broken even though it seemed perfectly functional, so we had to buy everything and couldn't prepare a meal. There weren't even recycling bags, while the manager expected obsessive attention to detail, as if we were volunteering instead of on holiday. Service was missing too. No welcome, help, or professionalism. We felt ignored, as though our presence was a nuisance. The manager was aggressive, rude, and impatient. There were no clear rules or communication, just improvised demands delivered in a hostile tone. We saw only one cleaning lady during the stay, on the day we left. If you've stayed somewhere rated above two stars, I think you'll have a terrible time here. This felt like a badly managed home advertised with photos that don't match reality. Stay away if you expect basic respect, comfort, and civility. If you want to ruin your Taormina vacation, go ahead.

We couldn't bring ourselves to stay, so we lost our money and our holiday was ruined. The manager just stared at us when we complained and even called us liars. The place is dirty, the bathroom filthy, and the sheets were patched. The property wasn't worth what we paid, and I'm glad I never saw the pool because I don't know what it would've been like. It's on a dirt road at the edge of Taormina, almost by Castelmola. We got lost over and over trying to find it. The road is steep downhill, too narrow for two cars to pass, and there is no parking. It might be ideal if you're serving a sentence.
