Villa Sirina

We were three friends in our early twenties and ended up at Hotel Villa Sirina unexpectedly in May 2024 after trouble with our original hotel. The welcome here was so kind. All the staff were amazing, and Giovanni took especially thoughtful care of us. It was a pleasure to greet her each morning at breakfast. The owners were sweet, friendly, and helpful with taxis. I highly recommend Hotel Sirina!

The breakfast buffet was amazing, and having those treats poolside made for a memorable stay. Our room was quaint and comfortable, with a balcony looking out toward the distant sea. The location was great and there was free parking. The staff were warm and pleasant, especially Giovanna, who went out of her way to make our visit exceptional. My wife and I stayed a month ago and felt the experience was well worth the cost. Do yourselves a favor and book, you won't regret it!

The only thing I missed was an evening meal at the hotel. There is parking on site, though you'll really need a car since there isn't much within walking distance. The staff were attentive and helpful, and breakfast had a good range of food, including some great homemade cakes. It's a very nice traditional hotel with pleasant grounds and a pool area.

The pool area was nice, but there was no service for soft drinks or a bar. Its view was mostly of a new building going up across the road, with the sea visible off to one side. The hotel is close to Taormina by car, but not walkable, so we had to drive everywhere and pay for parking. Road noise from the nearby highway was noticeable, and the Wi-Fi was slow at 12 mbits/sec. Breakfast was average, with little fruit and few bread choices, and we were rather rudely moved to another table without an explanation. In our room, the bed was on the hard side, there was no bottled water, and no kettle or tea. My wife and I stayed two nights in September 2023, and the hotel in general wasn't worth the price. We won't stay again.
