The private terrace under its pergola was such a cozy place to sit, and the welcome snacks were a lovely touch: coffee, water, nuts, cookies, and even a few bottles of sparkling wine. Inside the Bellatrase room, there were appliances, heating and air conditioning, a superb bed, and a small bathroom with everything needed, including a towel warmer. We spent a wonderful week there over New Year's, and the stay was simply enchanting. Mr. Ezio greeted us on arrival, offered help with anything we needed, and clearly puts a lot into giving guests a five-star experience. This little hotel will be hard to match. If we're back in the area, we'd absolutely stay again. The hotel is in the heart of the Lama neighborhood, with a supermarket just across the street, plus a pharmacy, church, and various shops nearby. Taranto's center is eight kilometers away, and a bus stop next to the hotel has several city routes serving Taranto and other destinations. The beach is also an easy walk away. Highly recommended.

Guests' needs were handled with impeccable service, and the owner was extremely accommodating. The "Bellatrase" apartment came with a roomy bedroom and kitchen, a bathroom, and an outdoor spot to relax with a table and chairs beneath a pergola. It was far beyond what I expected.

Shops of all sorts are only a few dozen meters from the B&B, from supermarkets to pizzerias, and the location is excellent. I stayed in the Battaglia room for four days and would definitely recommend it, especially to families. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with a magnificent outdoor veranda. Its new double bed was incredibly comfortable, the air conditioning was good, and the bathroom shower worked really well. Housekeeping was prompt and excellent, and the owner was friendly, attentive, and always ready to meet guests' needs.

My only gripe was having to go to a nearby bar for breakfast. Parking is on the street rather than private, though there was almost always a space. For summer stays, the spectacular sea is just a few kilometers away. The location is in Lama, a small village, but on foot there's a pizzeria/sandwich shop, supermarket, pharmacy, and bar. I stayed in the Battaglia room, which was cozy and modern, with snacks available. It was very clean, the outdoor space was lovely, and the manager was friendly and very helpful.
