A Due Passi B&B

The owner was friendly, helpful, and, most of all, reliable and honest. The apartments were clean and nicely furnished with new furniture. The location made it easy to walk to all the main sights. I’d recommend staying here and will certainly come back.

I’d give this no stars if I could. The house smelled awful and was dirty, and I was turned away on the first day, so I had to find somewhere else. As agreed, I went back for the other two days. On the last day, I’d been told I’d have access to a shared kitchen and living room, with the bathroom in the room, but that wasn’t true. They said there was no kitchen or even a refrigerator, so I had to leave my groceries with friends. I never got breakfast, and the whole experience was horrible. The people running it were incompetent.

The location is 2 km from the nearest attraction, the Archaeological Museum. I booked two nights through Booking.com for €30 per night. The room and bathroom weren’t very clean, and the photo I’m posting of the kitchen says enough. Breakfast was a problem both mornings: the first time, he didn’t show because his car had broken down. The second time, he said he’d arrive at 7:30 even though he knew I was leaving at 7:00, and then didn’t come at all. Another user had mentioned the late breakfasts too.

Untrustworthy people. I had booked and paid in full, but on the day I arrived, they rented it to another customer. After that, I booked elsewhere. Not reliable.
