B&B Principe Amedeo

The room looked very nice in the pictures, but was dirty when we arrived, including the sheets, which hadn't been changed, and the bathroom fixtures. There's no window or forced ventilation in the bathroom. Breakfast comes from a vending machine and isn't included in the price. We asked them to come clean again, then waited more than an hour and nobody showed up. Luckily, the booking platform helped us cancel right away and get a refund. I wouldn't recommend it.

The location is great, in a neighborhood that's lively but still quiet, with a lovely market across the street and the old town just steps away. I'll keep this place in mind for future trips to Taranto. The owner was welcoming and helpful, and accepted our reservation that same afternoon. Our room was new, clean, and carefully maintained. For the price, especially by Puglia standards, the lighting, canopy bed, and fully equipped bathroom stood out.

Good.
