B&B Serenella

The owner promised me I could check out at noon, regardless of other bookings. The night before, though, I got a message saying new guests were arriving after 10:30. When I called to complain, I was told I could stay until the time we'd agreed verbally, but by then it was too late. I packed up and moved to another property. The owner's response was another reason I'd advise against staying, though I can't go into it further. I don't like being lied to, even if someone wants to lie to themselves. It's an apartment, not a B&B, as I've already pointed out. Google Maps still listed it as a B&B, so I had the name changed. Breakfast wasn't included, or at least it wasn't offered to me. The price is low, as I've said. The apartment itself is large, equipped, and well kept, with a bathtub, fridge, flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi in every room, and a kitchen with a stove and various accessories. There are no towel racks in the bathroom. Air conditioning is there, but I couldn't use it because I wasn't given a remote. The building is run-down and falling apart. It's on the fourth floor with no elevator, a hard climb with heavy luggage, and the stairs are in poor shape. Parking is difficult to find, and any spot you do find is paid. Reviews can help people who don't know the area, so I wanted to mention that too.
