Casa Felice

We'd booked a room for three days a week ahead, then drove two hours with a small child only to be told on arrival that other guests were already in it. They said they'd call us back, but never did. We tried 15 times by phone and also messaged on WhatsApp. They read the messages and didn't reply. There was no professionalism or integrity here. I can't imagine someone coming from the north and ending up in the same situation we did. DO NOT GO THERE.

Stefania was helpful, and the location is central. Beyond that, there were a lot of issues: we couldn't use the kitchen, the bathroom was tiny, and the upstairs fan was missing the cover over its rotating blades. There were cockroaches in the entrance hall. Breakfast was 650 meters away, and parking cost extra instead of being included.

We booked three days, then on arrival I called the hotel and got a text saying there'd been a mistake and the room was already booked. I tried contacting them again, but got no answer. After an hour we luckily found another hotel. They left us out on the street with a child and didn't even apologize. That's a complete lack of respect and seriousness, and absolutely complaint-worthy. Just terrible.

The property was much cleaner than the photos on Booking.com suggested. The shameful part was the manager's behavior: after advising me to book directly with them instead of through Booking.com, they canceled my reservation on the platform and demanded the full payment in cash. Completely disrespectful. SHAMEFUL!
