The welcome drink was nice, and the receptionist was very kind. The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable, and the location is great. Still, for a five-star hotel I expected more. The bathroom has a few shortcomings, like no proper toilet paper holder. Breakfast was a letdown, with staff who didn’t seem very engaged, and coffee seemed scarce. I might try somewhere else next time.

The front desk staff were superb. It’s a simple hotel, and our room was clean with a nice bathroom and shower. We had two chairs on our little balcony, which was lovely for reading in the morning and watching the sunset later. The elevator was nice too. We’d stay again.

Everything felt new and spotless after the hotel’s recent renovation, and the staff were helpful throughout. Breakfast was included and a great start to the day. We had a balcony overlooking the city, where we could listen to the bells. The location is unbeatable, in the old center and close to the new center, with restaurants all around. This small boutique hotel is a must if you’re staying in Taranto. If I come back, I won’t look anywhere else.

The owner was wonderful, and her pride in all the work she’s done to transform the hotel over the past few years really comes through. She was also an amazing guide to an interesting city. L’arcangelo has been beautifully restored, with modern standards while keeping its historic charm. It’s a three-star hotel with five-star service. I’m so glad we stayed, and we’ll likely return.

Calm but central, with good restaurants nearby, and the rooms are lovely and clean. The staff were so friendly. I’d definitely recommend it. :)
