Relais d'Arfanta

The breakfast was just right, with meats, cheeses, charcuterie, pastries, honeycomb, yogurt, Prosecco, and more. Our room was cosy and charming, and there was nothing to fault. This gorgeous country relais is a renovated farmhouse surrounded by mountains and vineyards. The drive up is stunning, and the views all around are beautiful. We loved the pool and deck for enjoying Prosecco and the scenery. Samantha and Irina, who run the place, were incredibly sweet and hospitable. Thanks for a beautiful stay, we’ll be back!

Wander among the vineyards and fruit trees, pick ripe figs and plums, then cool off in the crystal clear pool and ask for a cold prosecco. The setting is captivating, and the service was excellent every day, including recommendations for a romantic dinner. The suite was exceptional. With the lovely surroundings, it’s a perfect spot for a romantic holiday and reconnecting as a couple. We’ll come back.

The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are amazing, and the shower was the best I’ve ever had. Staff were very friendly, and breakfast was well above average. There’s no restaurant, though, and if it had full restaurant service I’d give this place a 6.

The staff made the stay feel special from the start. Renate, the Director, handled our last-minute booking and even offered to arrange lunch for our arrival. Samantha followed up about spa appointments while we were still on the way. When we got there, Irene welcomed us warmly, checked us in right away, offered a glass of house Prosecco, and let us choose between two available rooms, both with lovely vineyard, pool, and mountain views. She then brought us a delicious light lunch by the pool, looking out over the mountains and vineyards. The place itself is beautiful and comfortable. The pool was too cold for swimming in mid-October, but it was still a nice spot to lounge by. Inside, the living rooms were cozy too, and after dinner we enjoyed sitting on the sofas and chatting. I could see myself visiting in colder weather as well. Breakfast was a real highlight, with a gorgeous room, a huge picture window, and an incredible spread. Irene was always nearby if we needed anything, and she felt genuinely kind. The spa and massage were great too. I loved the massage and its beautifully scented oil. They were out of the oil this time, so I’ll look to buy it on our next trip. Everyone was so helpful, from making sure we could walk to an open vineyard to booking wonderful local meals and suggesting towns and places to see. The Veneto amazed us, and staying with Irene, Renate, and the rest of the team made it feel even more special. I only wish we’d stayed longer. We’re eager to come back. Molto gentile!
