Maria Domenica, the owner, was very helpful throughout our stay. La Dimora del Sole is a spacious, well-kept holiday home for private use, with a real sense of having your own place. It’s in Taurisano, around 20 minutes from the beaches of the Maldives of Salento, including Torre San Giovanni, Torre Mozza, Torre Vado, and Pescoluse. Torre San Giovanni has Caribbean-like water, while Torre Mozza has restaurants and bars for dinner or sunset drinks. The porch and private garden make it easy to eat outdoors for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There’s also a very good nearby pizzeria with takeout, plus a "Cotto e Mangiato" restaurant serving traditional Salento food. A lovely choice for a relaxing holiday.
