Our host was so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The double room was very clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was simple but a nice start to the day, with yogurt, juice, toast with jam and Nutella. When we asked, he explained the area and gave us advice on planning our itinerary. We had a great stay.

We arrived on time and treated the host respectfully, but he was unfriendly and spoke to us as if we were dogs. He yelled “porta” and “ID”, with no thank you or eye contact. The place felt creepy, with everything chained up. He spent 1/4hour writing down our ID details, then started shouting “contanti”. We were scared to stay and decided to leave.

Giacomo let us use the spacious, well-equipped kitchen for a reasonable extra €5, so we could cook like at home, though he was a bit too present. At first he seemed a little rough around the edges, but he was helpful. We were traveling with only our bicycles and stayed one night. The B&B is near the center of Tempio in a residential area, at the bottom of a long downhill slope. The outdoor area wasn't well maintained, and our room was really small, though it had a little terrace. The private bathroom was downstairs by the kitchen, which should have been stated when booking. It was the biggest letdown, small, cramped and dated. Fine for a quick stopover.
