Turismo Rurale Lu Salconi

After four nights at Lu Salconi, we felt so relaxed that it seemed like we’d been unwinding for weeks, even though we’d planned a two week stay on sardinia. The place is beautiful and incredibly peaceful. The view is amazing, though you do need to take a bit of sandy road to get there. It was easy to get used to after the first drive. The room and terrace were comfortable, and Zulu the dog was fun to have around. We were very content, although we did miss having a proper espresso machine. A mokka was fine in the morning, but after dinner we wanted a real espresso. Service was impeccable, with daily cleaning and packed lunches to take out, including a cooling bag. There were two dinner options. We picked the less extensive one twice, and it was delicious without being more than we could finish. The local produce was beautifully presented, and the wine from the carafe and mirto afterwards were delicious too. Breakfast was also great, with good yoghurt options. The staff were very friendly and spoke perfect English, so my wife, who does speak Italian, didn’t have to translate for me for once. There are plenty of beaches within a 30 minute drive and several cute villages for shopping. Some other guests seemed to be into kite surfing, which we didn’t try. With more time, I’m sure we could have found even more to do in the area.

We had a wonderful time learning about Sardinian pasta in the cooking class with federica. The food was lovely, the view was stunning, and the wine tasted great. Thanks so much, it was a pleasure. We’d recommend going here 100%!

The views and surroundings are breathtaking, and the service was top notch. Everything was local and made with love, and the food was AMAZING. Come here if you want to try authentic regional cooking.

We stayed here with our baby in May and found it extremely peaceful, with beautiful views from the terrace. Frederica was flexible and very helpful, and the food felt authentic.
