Umberto made us feel at home with his warm welcome. The rooms are comfortable and peaceful, and the spacious property sits among Teramo’s green hills. The food was a highlight: genuine, flavorful Teramo cooking that’s hard to find elsewhere, plus delicious wood-fired pizza. From its high vantage point, the views stretch across the province, taking in the Gran Sasso d'Italia Apennines, the Bourbon fortress of Civitella del Tronto, the Teramo coast on the Adriatic, and the promontory of Atri.

The nights were peaceful and cool, and it was a great place to relax and eat well. The figs had just been picked, the pizza was delicious, and the price was more than fair. The road aside, I’ve never had a welcome this warm. They even called me back at 9 PM after finding a double room for mid-August. In the morning, you can see the sea on the left and mountains on the right. There were a few minor maintenance issues, but it was still quiet.

The homemade food was excellent, and the wines were outstanding. It’s a lovely place with views of both the sea and mountains, and a warm family welcome. I’ll definitely return.

The food is top quality, and you can take in both the Gran Sasso and the sea at once. I was glad to see everything had been renovated, with luxurious marble and a high-quality feel. The welcome is warm and puts you at ease. I’ll definitely come back.

The food was good and true to Abruzzo tradition, but I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The hotel feels somewhere between shocking and dilapidated, despite being in a beautiful spot in the Pescara hinterland. Two kind people ran it, though they didn’t remember us at all the next morning when we arrived. There seemed to be no kitchen or cleaning staff.
