La Casa dei Nonni B&B

The owners were so kind and ready to help with anything. The spacious rooms, big living room with a table, kitchen, refrigerator, and terrace made it feel like home, and it reminded me of my grandparents. They had all sorts of interesting books, plus homemade yogurt and their own special cookies, including a delicious ciambellone. They’re keen, knowledgeable hikers and gave excellent advice. This is one of my favorite places, especially for a small group of friends or two couples.

The terrace looks out over the Abruzzo mountains, and the shared room has a record player and fireplace. TV and Wi-Fi both worked. Massimo, the host, is always available and goes out of his way to meet guests’ needs. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable, like a family home. A wonderful stay at this B&B, highly recommended.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the B&B in January. I’m only getting around to writing this now because of other commitments, but it deserves a lovely review. As soon as you walk in, it feels like your grandparents’ house, warm and full of memories. Massimo, the very kind owner, will tell you about what they do there if you’re up for a chat. His warm welcome is why I wanted to praise this wonderful old-fashioned bed and breakfast project. I recommend stopping by Massimo’s B&B for a lovely experience.
