The host was kind and helpful, and we appreciated that the accommodation welcomes dogs, for an extra €5 per pet per day. The house is part of a villa with a shared entrance, and our apartment had no washer or dryer. It’s a beautiful, quiet house among vineyards, about halfway between Bolzano and Trento and five minutes from Termeno, where there are pharmacies and supermarkets. The location worked well for Christmas markets, with Vipiteno, Merano, Bolzano, Bressanone, and Trento all within an hour’s drive. There’s free guest parking, underfloor heating, induction appliances, and a large garden looking out over the vineyards. The place was very clean, especially the bathroom, though there were a few cobwebs in the corners. The living room had a large, comfortable sofa facing the snow-covered mountains, and the kitchen included a dishwasher. I gave four stars because I think it’s ideal for a family but not for two couples. One bedroom was spacious with a double bed. The other was cramped, with a single bed and a camp bed. Although the camp bed was comfortable, it was short and narrow, and there wasn’t room to put it beside the single bed without blocking the way into the bedroom. My partner and I had to sleep separately for the whole stay, which was a major drawback for me.

The garden was small but cared for, with vineyard and snow-covered mountain views, and the parking area had plenty of space, though it was shared by the whole property. The house was cozy and clean apart from a few cobwebs, with underfloor heating, a dishwasher, and a very roomy bathroom with a shower. There was no washing machine. We were there with friends. The place had two bedrooms, a living room with kitchen, and a bathroom. For the price, I wouldn't suggest it to a family: one couple would end up in a small room with separate beds, one of them a camp bed. The location is excellent for exploring the Trentino-Alto Adige markets, and the house is easy to reach. The host was very kind. Dogs are welcome for a daily fee per dog, so you pay separately for each one. You can also buy excellent wine there.

We had a wonderful stay, and the owners, the Bellutti family, gave us such a warm welcome. Their own winery offers tastings of the house wines, and the thoughtfully put together guest folder has all the information you need for a good visit. The apartment was lovely and clean, with a magnificent view across the vineyards to the lake. Hospitality here really is for young and old alike. There are plenty of places to go exploring in the region, which is well worth seeing. Thank you!

The Weinberghof looks straight out over Lake Kaltern, with Leuchtenburg Castle among the sights above it, and the views are stunning. It's a great place to unwind, with lovely, cozy apartments that are kept in excellent condition and fantastic landlords. The setting also makes a handy base for outings. The pool is practically across the street, and the town center is about a 10-minute walk. There are shops and restaurants in town, while delicious wine is available on-site 😉 The Tramin winery is also right across the street, within sight.
