We stumbled on this place while looking for a hotel and ended up getting more than we expected: a visit to a working farm and time with great people. It’s small and quaint, not fancy, but it feels real, which is exactly what you want from agritourism at a family farm. The family farms the land and looks after their guests. My kids loved seeing the animals, and we all enjoyed the hospitality.

Il Gallo con gli Stivali is an extensive working farm tucked just outside the seaside town of Termoli, even though it’s surrounded by apartment buildings and a highway overpass. There are olive trees, vegetable gardens, chickens, sheep, horses, and plenty more. The proprietor’s grandmother used to own the farm, and the place still has a welcoming feel, with comfortable modern rooms and a very nice, filling breakfast. We had a lovely stay at this little agriturismo gem.

For the price, it’s an easy choice. The location is ace, and our room was spacious and clean. Mimmo was friendly and really helpful. Staying at Gallo con gli Stivali was one of the best B&B experiences I’ve had in a long time.

The animals were a real treat if you enjoy them, especially the ducks, donkeys, and ponies. We stayed six nights at Il Gallo con gli Stivali, where the rooms were roomy, clean, and comfortable. Massimiliano and Mimmo were attentive and made us feel very welcome, and breakfast was fantastic. It’s also well placed for amenities, including a grocery store, and makes a great base for exploring beautiful Termoli and Molise. Thanks, Massimiliano and Mimmo, for a fantastic stay. We’ll definitely be back!
