Daniele is a pleasant, hardworking person, and I hope he can soon bring the accommodation up to a more suitable standard. The place deserves attention. The rooms and bathroom were decent and fairly clean, the air conditioning worked well and was needed on some nights, and the property was very well maintained during the rain. The approach road was a different story: steep in places, full of potholes, and more like a sheep track. I damaged my car on it, and getting there without an off-road vehicle was difficult. There were countless insects, especially mosquitoes, which made the stay unpleasant and turned cooking in the outdoor kitchen into an experience to forget. The rural setting felt more like survival accommodation to me. Maybe the upkeep of the surroundings affected my rating. Comparing it with the beautiful walks on the Marmore Falls trails, the difference is striking, and the approach to tourism seems quite different.

The house was simply furnished and could have been cleaner, even for a place in the countryside. On the plus side, the owner was kind and helpful, and it was quiet, close to waterfalls and villages worth seeing, including Labro, Piediluco Lake, and Scheggino. Getting there was a little difficult, so I'd contact the owner for directions. A great option if you're traveling with a dog.

The trail from San Liberato to Marmore Falls is a great way to spend time outdoors. This is a good place to stay for that, and to leave the car behind and unwind. The rooms are simple, but have what you need, and the staff are attentive, thorough, and helpful.

The owners are friendly and really know the area, and the accommodation was very clean. It's a lovely, relaxing spot just a short walk from the Marmore Falls, with everything else easy to get to. I'd recommend it for a restful stay.
